Wiwi Cao

Born in China and raised in the Netherlands, Operations Manager Wiwi Cao has a natural instinct for people, culture and language. Combined with a talent for organization and an industrious and positive nature, she brings a wealth of experience to the Schreurs & Bierman team.

From 2001-2007, she studied at the University of Utrecht, graduating with MA in Language and Cultural Studies, specializing in Communication Sciences. In parallel with her studies, Wiwi’s proactive outlook and can-do attitude saw her gain valuable insight and experience in the hospitality industry while working as an Assistant Restaurant Manager for The Hong Kong Restaurant in Leiden. In her later work experience she went on to further develop her skills in PR, event organization and marketing with internships at GCI Holland Public Relations and the Miss Asia Organization in Amsterdam, before spending one-year with Google Amsterdam as Account Strategist where she worked with key clients such as eBay, Sony, BMG and Warner Music.

On completing her studies, Wiwi followed her passion for languages and a desire to explore her heritage, and made her way to China where she studied at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, adding Mandarin to her native Dutch tongue, fluent English and good working knowledge of Spanish, French and German. After completing an intensive language course, she remained in Shanghai, drawn in by the dynamic environment, rapid growth and business potential. She first worked as a Business Development Consultant for Randstad HR Solutions before bringing her exceptional talents, skills and experience to Schreurs & Bierman in May 2009.
